  • Orchestra-Request Live
  • November 21, 7:30 p.m.

Join us for an evening full to the brim of your favorite symphonic music! On November 21, the Bartlesville Symphony cuts right to the chase to present YOUR ORCHESTRA—no soloists, no fancy pictures, no acrobats in mid-air—just the symphony playing some of the greatest and most-requested composers and pieces of all time, and climaxing with Tchaikovsky’s thrilling 1812 Overture!

Wait! Don’t get us wrong! This is not your dull, uneventful, and drawn-out orchestra concert. We don’t do that here! Instead we’ve designed a musical evening based on what our audiences requested through several surveys last season—music that is powerful, beautiful, and familiar. And because we wanted to play as much as possible, we’ll be playing selected movements of more pieces, rather than just a few longer pieces in their entirety.

Think of it as an early Thanksgiving buffet overflowing with delicious dishes bound to delight and satisfy!

The composers include Beethoven (Symphony No. 5), Grieg (Peer Gynt), Gershwin (Porgy and Bess), Mozart (“Jupiter” Symphony), as well as familiar works by Bach, Copland and Brahms. And then don’t forget the 1812 Overture. It’s hard to tell exactly what will happen but you know it’s bound to be exciting and loud!

Don’t miss the power of the orchestra and the pleasure of the familiar. ORCHEST-REQUEST LIVE is coming November 21. Don’t miss it!
